The Most Common Types of Pleated Bags

Top Load

Top load pleated dust filter bags feature molded-end elements engineered for top-loading applications. They can fit tube sheets up to 3/16” thick, allowing for a snug, reliable seal. By combining the features of both the MTL and CTL styles into a single design, top load filters provide versatility and efficiency for a wide range of dust collection systems.

Bottom Load

Bottom load pleated dust filter bags consist of molded-end filter elements designed for dust collector systems with bottom bag removal. They most commonly fit 5.75” diameter collectors with integral bag cups or hubs, though 4 ⅝” diameter options are also available. This style is known for its durability and secure fit.

Long Boot Bottom Load

Long boot bottom load pleated bags are designed with an extended boot section that provides additional stability and sealing in bottom-loading dust collector systems. This design improves resistance to abrasion and enhances dust release during cleaning cycles. This option is ideal for operations with higher dust loads or more demanding environments.
